Cook the brinjal upto 1 whistle. Make a slit before cooking. Now in a pan heat oil, add salt and chilli powder and saute brinjals for 2 mts

Grind the ingredients in the gravy section to make a paste

Mix the curd and masala in the section

Now in a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds, carom seeds and asofedita. Add chopped onions and saute till translucent. Add curd paste and cook for 2 mts. Add the gravy paste and cook for 3mts while stirring

Add the spices and brinjal. Add 1/2cup water and cook covered for 5 mts

Serve hot topped with coriander (i didnt have) and 1tbsp ghee, with Parathas
