Ingredients

  1. 100grm paneer
  2. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  3. 1/2 cupcurd
  4. 1/4 cupmilk
  5. 2onions
  6. 1 tspmelon seeds
  7. 1 tspsaunf
  8. 1 tspwhite sesame
  9. 1 tsppoppy seeds - khaskhas
  10. 6cashews
  11. 4almonds
  12. 1small piece cinnamon
  13. 4cloves
  14. 10white peppercorns
  15. 4green cardamom
  16. 1bay leaf
  17. 2green chillies
  18. 1small piece ginger
  19. 4garlic cloves
  20. 4 tspoil
  21. 1/2 tspkasuri methi
  22. 1 tspsugar
  23. Salt to taste
  24. Water as required

    Take a kadai. Add 2 tsp oil. On a slow flame, saute kaju, badam, khaskhas, melon seeds, elaichi, dalchini, saunf, sesame, cloves, bay leaf, and white peppercorns, all together. Make sure the color should not be changed to make white gravy.

    Now add cut onions, garlic cloves, green chillies, and ginger. Saute till onions turn into transculent. Add water in it, cover a lid, and cook till all turns soft. Turn off gas. Transfer in a plate. Cool it completely. Meanwhile, boil peas and keep ready of paneer pieces.

    Remove bay leaf and grind well white gravy in a mixer jar. Add milk to make smooth paste. In the same kadai, add 2 tsp oil and add white paste. Stir continuously. When thickens a little bit, add curd, sugar, and salt. Mix well. Add some water, matar, and paneer. Cover a lid, and cook for a couple of minutes. Lastly, add Kasuri methi. Switch off gas.

    Ready to serve Shahi Matar Paneer In White Gravy. Garnish with coriander and some boiled green peas. Enjoy with roti, phulka, naan, or with steamed rice.
