Matar Paneer is one of the popular dishes. Usually, it makes it in orange spicy gravy, but for a change, the first time, I make it in white gravy. White gravy is always less spicy. But Shahi white gravy always gives a great taste, as added cashews and almonds. Try once. You never regret it. Enjoy hot with roti, phulka, naan, or with steamed rice.

Matar Paneer is one of the popular dishes. Usually, it makes it in orange spicy gravy, but for a change, the first time, I make it in white gravy. White gravy is always less spicy. Take a kadai. Add 2 tsp oil. On a slow flame, saute kaju, badam, khaskhas, melon seeds, elaichi, dalchini, saunf, sesame, cloves, bay leaf, and white peppercorns, all together. Make sure the color should not be changed to make white gravy.

Now add cut onions, garlic cloves, green chillies, and ginger. Saute till onions turn into transculent. Add water in it, cover a lid, and cook till all turns soft. Turn off gas. Transfer in a plate. Cool it completely. Meanwhile, boil peas and keep ready of paneer pieces.

Remove bay leaf and grind well white gravy in a mixer jar. Add milk to make smooth paste. In the same kadai, add 2 tsp oil and add white paste. Stir continuously. When thickens a little bit, add curd, sugar, and salt. Mix well. Add some water, matar, and paneer. Cover a lid, and cook for a couple of minutes. Lastly, add Kasuri methi. Switch off gas.

Ready to serve Shahi Matar Paneer In White Gravy. Garnish with coriander and some boiled green peas. Enjoy with roti, phulka, naan, or with steamed rice.
