Migas with Crispy Pork Belly

Migas with Crispy Pork Belly
Steps
- 1
Cut the bread into pieces and sprinkle with warm salted water to moisten. Set aside.
- 2
In a large skillet, pour a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil. Add whole garlic cloves, sliced chorizo, diced pork belly, and green bell peppers (previously cut in half and fried). Sauté everything until browned, then remove the ingredients from the pan and set aside.
- 3
Add the moistened bread pieces to the skillet over low heat. Sauté, stirring often, until the bread turns golden and toasted. Once the bread is ready, return the sautéed chorizo, pork belly, garlic, and peppers to the pan. Mix well, then remove from heat and serve.
Optional: Fry an egg and place it on top for extra flavor—delicious!
Enjoy!
