My air fryer oven has a rotisserie skewer, so I can grill fresh pine apples and pork steaks together, a traditional way to make Al Pastor Pork. I pressed the marinaded pork steaks between fresh pine apple slices on the skewer to grill everything at once. The meat is marinaded with Al Pastor sauce. Delicious, here is the recipe.

Steps

2 hour marinade and prep, 1 hour grill
  1. 1

Peel and slice the pine apple in slices the same thickness as the pork steaks. Use slices of the pine apple to flank each marinaded pork steak on the spit of the rotisserie. Marinade pork steaks only two hours, the fresh pine apple marinade works as tenderizer.

I teach people at the farmers market to grow small scale fruits and vegetables. My grandparents and parents taught me growing, cooking and preserving home grown fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and fish. I got certified by the University of California Master Gardener Program in 2005. I try to bring out the original flavor of ingredients, then add layers of spices, herbs and flavorings that enhance, not distort the taste. These are the global, organic and vegan family recipes we use.
