Just my take on a Classic Patty Melt.

Ingredients

1/2 an hour or 20 minutes
3 people
  1. 2 slicestoasted Rye, buttered
  2. 1 poundGround Beef, 3 patties
  3. Seasoning: Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper, Cajun Seasoning
  4. Ketchup and Brown Deli Mustard
  5. 2Sauteed onions, thin slice
  6. Velveeta

Cooking Instructions

1/2 an hour or 20 minutes
  1. 1

    Slice onions, make seasoned 1/3 Pound patties.

  2. 2

    Slice cheese, preheat your cast iron skillet

  3. 3

    SEAR and fry the burgers with impregnated onions.

  4. 4

    Add cheese and melt. Serve on buttered Rye with Ketchup and mustard and generous caramelized onions.
