Neem or Azadirachta Indica is one such versatile trees whose each single part is put to varied uses.
This one is a hot Decoction useful in many ways. Neem Leaves are used in the treatment of skin diseases like Eczema, loss of appetite, Leprosy, Eye disorders, Intestinal disorders, stomach upsets, Liver problems, Gingivitis, Diabetes etc.
Drinking boiled Neem Leaves water can contribute to great health benefits as these are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.
To balance the bitter taste, I have added some Palm Jaggery. This simple Tea can help relieve constipation if taken on empty stomach in the morning. It can be used in the treatment of wounds and burns too. Also in weight loss as well.
But caution is needed in terms of it's oral intake. Topical treatment or using it for Skin, hair etc is okay but consuming it orally is quite dangerous if used daily. It can cause Liver and Kidney damage.
It can be taken once a Month to reap it's medicinal benefits orally or internally. External use has no restrictions. Boiled Neem Leaves water can be used for washing the hair for it's health. Skin rashes and burns, cuts and wounds can also be treated with this water. Neem powder or paste can be applied as a mask too.
All in all, a super Tree with super healthy benefits for the whole body.

Steps
- 1
Bring water to a rolling boil on a high heat at first with fresh neem leaves added to it. After it starts boiling vigorously, take it off the heat. Do not steep it. Just a vigorous boil is enough.
- 2
Do not forget to add palm or coconut jaggery according to one's own taste and choice. Strain in individual serving cups.
- 3
Drink it warm. Take small sips and do not use for more than once a fortnight, better still a Month. That's it. It's healthy if used in moderation.
