Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. - 2
Add sliced Shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until they start to brown and become tender.

Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beans are crisp-tender.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and sesame oil.
Pour the soy sauce mixture over the mushrooms and green beans, stirring well to coat evenly. - 5
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.Enjoy it.
