Ingredients

  • 8 cupswater
  • 1/3 cupcognac
  • 1large head of cabbage
  • 1 cupchopped gammon
  • 1 stickbutter
  • To taste salt
  • 1 cupsliced leeks

Steps

  1. 1

    Add water salt and cognac in a pot and bring to a boil. Add the leeks and gammon. 15 minutes later add the cabbage and butter.

    Simmer 30 to 45 minutes on very low heat covered. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
