Ingredients

  1. 1 poundground meat
  2. 1 Tbspolive oil
  3. 1/2 tspfine sea salt, or to taste
  4. 1/4 tsppepper, or to taste
  5. 1/2onion, finely diced
  6. 3garlic cloves, minced
  7. 1 bagslaw mix (~3 cups cabbage)
  8. 1 tspground ginger
  9. 1/4 cuplow sodium soy sauce
  10. 2 tspsesame oil
  11. 1/2 tspgranulated sugar
  12. 1 Tbspchopped green onion, optional for garnish
  13. sesame seeds for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Set a large skillet over medium/high heat and add oil. Once hot, add ground meat and brown until no longer pink, about 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spatula as it's cooked. Season with salt and pepper.

    Add onion and saute until tender, 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and cook another 30 seconds, stirring constantly.

    Finally add the cabbage, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Continue sauteeing for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until cabbage is tender
