Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice one banana into 1/8 to 1/4 inch rounds. Peel and mash the other banana with a fork. Lightly microwave the butter to melt it.
- 2
Mix the pancake mix, mashed banana, milk, sugar, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- 3
Lightly coat the rice cooker with butter and arrange the banana slices on the bottom. Pour the batter over the bananas. Turn on the rice cooker as usual.
- 4
Insert a skewer to check if it's done; if it comes out clean, it's ready. If not, press the cook button again. Be careful not to leave it in the rice cooker too long after it's done, as it may lose its shape.

Foolproof Banana Cake with Pancake Mix Foolproof Banana Cake with Pancake Mix
I thought of a recipe that us child-rearing mothers could make together in our cooking club. I made this simple with pancake mix and melted butter so that anyone baking for the first time couldn't even fail. It's easy to make if using this recipe. It's a big hit.The banana is fine if just roughly mashed. If mashing is too much work, you can just slice it and mix it into the cake batter. I used an aluminium pound cake pan (10 x 18 x 5 cm) from the 100 yen shop. The flavor of the banana will be stronger if you can held your hands on a ripe one.Note: With the mold described above, I could slice my cake into 8-10 slices.Since this is made with pancake mix, there's no way you can fail. Just measure the ingredients and mix until there are no flour streaks. Recipe by tsubasa1119 cookpad.japan

Ultra Easy Chocolate Cake in a Rice Cooker Ultra Easy Chocolate Cake in a Rice Cooker
I used to always mix in meringue (whipped up egg whites) when I made a cake, but I wondered if I could make something that would be less of a hassle, so I omitted any bothersome tasks (like making a meringue or sifting flour), and left out any ingredients I don't usually have any on hand (heavy cream, baking powder) and tried making a cake. The amounts listed here are enough to bake 1 cake in a medium to large sized rice cooker that can prepare 900 ml of uncooked rice at most. There aren't any hints in particular! Even if you're a lazy baker, the cake will still puff up. If you want to be more diligent, please try sifting the flour or beating the eggs more, to make the cake puffier and lighter. I used a dark chocolate bar this time, but the cake was sweet enough! Recipe by pasa. cookpad.japan
