Rinse the edamame quickly under water and drain. Place them in a sturdy bag, add the salt, and shake the bag to coat the pods evenly. Let them sit for 10–20 minutes so the salt soaks in, but if you're short on time, you can grill them right away.

Line a grill rack with aluminum foil and arrange the edamame in a single layer. Grill until they get a nice char. Stir them once during grilling to help them brown evenly.

These are so tasty, you'll want more! They go great with beer. You can also use frozen edamame.
