14 oz (400 g)edamame in pods
1-2 tablespoonsolive oil (15–30 ml)
1 clovegarlic
Salt, to taste
1-2 tablespoonswater (15–30 ml)

Trim the ends off the edamame pods.

Place the edamame in a skillet and cook until they start to char. Once charred, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water, cover, and steam.

When the water has evaporated, add olive oil, chopped garlic, and salt. Toss to coat, and it's ready to serve.
