The origin of this recipe
I wanted to make it as crispy as the ones served in restaurants.
Steps
- 1
Mix all the ingredients in a 1:1:2 ratio... It's recommended to make a larger batch.
- 2
You can season the meat as you like, but it's recommended to coat the meat with plenty of moisture.
- 3
If you want it super crispy, add a little marinade to the breadcrumbs for an extra crispy coating!
- 4
If you're making salt fried chicken with little marinade, it's good to add some sake or a bit of beaten egg to the meat before coating. That's what we do at home!
- 5
Add the meat to the mixture all at once and coat it thoroughly. If you run out of the mixture, make more separately and add it.
- 6
After coating, let it sit for about 5 minutes and mix again for even better results!
- 7
Then just fry in oil at about 355°F (180°C). No need for double frying to get that crispy texture!
- 8
Use regular breadcrumbs, not fine ones.
