Steps
- 1
Here are the ingredients. I used 3.5 oz (100 g) of canned sweetened azuki beans.
- 2
Open the can of sweetened azuki beans.
- 3
Use half the can (about 3.5 oz or 100 g) of azuki beans. Place the beans in a saucepan and add an equal amount of water (1/2 cup or 100 ml). Heat the mixture.
- 4
Arrange the mochi pieces on a plate, sprinkle lightly with water, and microwave for 30 seconds.
- 5
Once the azuki mixture comes to a boil, add the microwaved mochi and let it simmer briefly.
- 6
When it comes to a gentle boil, serve in a bowl and enjoy.
