Tuna Mayo Gochujang Onigiri Ver.2

The gochujang rice has a spicy kick, followed by the creamy flavor of tuna mayo.
Recipe background:
I wanted to switch up the colors of the filling and rice from my original “Tuna Mayo Gochujang Onigiri” (Recipe ID: 18293640), so I created this variation.

Steps
- 1
Mix the cooked rice with the ingredients marked with ✿ (dashi, sesame seeds, gochujang, sesame oil). (This is delicious on its own, too!)
- 2
Drain the tuna well, then mix with mayonnaise and season with salt to taste. (Adjust the amount to your liking, or use your favorite tuna mayo recipe.)
- 3
Use the tuna mayo mixture as the filling and shape the rice into onigiri (rice balls). It helps to use plastic wrap to shape them. Wrap with nori if you like.
- 4
Making nori rolls is also recommended! With the listed ingredients, you can make 2 medium nori rolls. After rolling, let them sit for 2 minutes, then cut with a damp knife.
