Ingredients

Serves 8 servings
  • 1 lborzo (rice-shaped pasta)
  • 1onion
  • 10mushrooms
  • 1 headbroccoli
  • 2 cupscheese (use your favorite, such as pizza cheese or any slightly salty cheese)
  • 1/2 cupcream cheese
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/2 cupred wine
  • 1/2 cupwhite wine
  • 1 handfulparsley
  • 2/3 cupbreadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cupParmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the broccoli. Finely chop the onion and quarter the mushrooms, then sauté them in butter. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Once everything is cooked through, add the red and white wine and let it reduce.

    Cook the orzo.

  3. 3

    Mix the cooked orzo with cheese and cream cheese, then add the boiled broccoli. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Add the wine-reduced mixture to the orzo and mix well. Transfer to a baking dish.

  5. 5

    Mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley, then sprinkle evenly over the orzo in the baking dish.

  6. 6

    Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes, and it's ready!
