Steps

Heat jaggery in a sauce pan. Switch off the gas when it starts melting. Add half milk to dissolve the jaggery.

Sieve wheat flour, rava, baking powder and baking soda. Keep aside.

Sieve the jaggery mixture in a mixing bowl. Add oil and vanilla essence.

Mix the wheat flour mixture slowly. Add remaining milk to get the desired consistency. The mixture will be thick so milk is added.

Grease a baking tin. Pour the batter. Sprinkle the nuts and tutti frutti.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for about 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Please note while baking all the ingredients must be at room temperature.

Cool before cutting to slices.
