Ingredients

  1. 2.2 poundsground beef (1 kg)
  2. 3potatoes, diced
  3. 1 can(12 oz/350 g) tomato puree
  4. 2 clovesgarlic, finely chopped
  5. 1small bunch mixed herbs (bay leaf, thyme, marjoram)
  6. 1/2 cupwater (120 ml)
  7. 2-3 tablespoonsoil
  8. 1 tablespoonchicken bouillon powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet. Once hot, add the chopped garlic and sauté until golden, stirring constantly.

  2. 2

    Add the ground beef and the bunch of herbs. Cook until the beef is fully browned.

  3. 3

    Stir in the tomato puree and diced potatoes.

  4. 4

    Add the chicken bouillon powder and 1/2 cup water to keep the mixture from drying out. Cover and cook until the potatoes are tender.
