If you love savory pastries, you can make this wonderful recipe for special occasions or parties. They're also great for kids to take to school.

In a bowl, combine 2 cups warm milk, 2 tablespoons instant yeast, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 egg, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon white vinegar or apple cider vinegar (the vinegar makes the dough soft and fluffy), and 7 cups all-purpose flour (you may need a little more or less flour depending on the dough texture).

First, mix all the ingredients except the flour. Then add the flour and knead well until you get a smooth, silky dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 1/2 hours, until it doubles in size.

Let the dough rise.

Roll out the dough and add the cheese filling.

Seal the dough closed.

Place the pastries seam side down on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Brush the pastries with melted butter.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and let them rest in a warm place for 30 minutes to double in size.

Preheat the oven and bake the pastries at a low temperature until golden and cooked through.

Broil briefly to brown the tops, then remove from the oven.
