Steps
- 1
Place unwashed grapes in a large bowl or stainless steel pot and evenly sprinkle baking soda and salt.
- 2
Cover grapes with cold water, gently shake and scrub the grapes for about one minute, give it a toss, and let soak for 5 minutes.
- 3
Then place the grapes in a fine-mesh sieve or colander and rinse with cold water.
- 4
On a paper kitchen towel, lay the rinsed grapes, cut protruding stalks, and separate the bruised grapes.
- 5
Place 20 pieces of grapes on pre-cut aluminum foil, folding the foil like an envelope, seal, then place in a labeled freezer-friendly container.
- 6
Store apportioned grapes in the freezer.
- 7
Before serving desired portion sizes (I.e., 5, 10, or 20 pieces of frozen grapes), first slice each frozen grape then serve with crackers and cheese on the side. Enjoy!
