Steps

Pressure cook 2 cup whole black gram dal for 5 hours and pressure cook for two whistle

Heat 2 tsp ghee and add cumin and add chopped onion and saute into translucent. Then add ginger garlic paste. Saute until its raw smell goes

Add the red chilli powder and mix

Add the tomato puree and stir for two minutes

Add cooked urad dal and mix
- 6
Cover and cook for five to seven minutes. After seven minutes if the gravy is become very thick add 1/2 cup water and mix
- 7
Add Fresh cream, finely chopped coriander leaves and garam masala to the dal makhani and mix. Add a tsp of butter on the top before serving
