Ingredients

  • 4 slicesbread
  • 4 tablespoonsbutter
  • 4 teaspoonsground black pepper divided

Steps

  1. 1

    Toast the bread in a cast iron skillet. Turn as needed.

    Add the tablespoon of butter to a hot side of the toast when you turn it. Add half a teaspoon to each slice. Turn to melt the butter more. Pepper the other side. Let the butter get absorbed by the bread.
