First wash the prawns. Then take out black thread from the prawns, Then wash it twice or thrice with haldi powder and salt. Once it is done then keep aside. Onion, tomato ginger, poppy seeds, mustard seeds grind them into fine paste. Heat mustard oil in pan. Fry the prawns for few seconds. Once it is done then transfer to a plate and keep aside.

In the same pan add little mustard oil. Fry 1 bay leaf, 2 green cardamom, 1 cloves saute it for few seconds. Then add the masala paste. Fry till the raw smell of masala goes off. Then add fried prawns add salt and enough water.

Cover and cook for 1 minutes. Then open the lid add coconut milk. Mix it properly and cook for another 1 minute. Once it is done then add chopped coriander leaves.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with hot.steam rice
