I am Malati Raha from West Bengal. As my name begins with Mein, I have chosen to make Moong Potato Fritters. Hope you will enjoy it. It is a delightful snacks for a rainy evening.

Moong dal is my favourite. So I prefer to make moong fritters today with potato. For this I have taken 150 grams of moong dal. Out of it 100 grams of moong dal is soaked in water for 1 hour. After soaking I grind moong dal with a pinch of baking soda and salt.

Now in a frying pan after heating refined oil I have to fry peanuts. Then I fry curry leaves, green chillies and coriander leaves. When it becomes sauteed add moong dal and fry it until it gets golden.

Then I have added boiled potatoes and smash it with moong vaji. Then I have added all the masalas and have sauteed it for for 3-4 minutes before adding fried peanuts. Now I have switched off the gas and spread roasted crushed coriander seed & fennel seeds over it. Let it be cooled down.

Now in a bowl I mix grindered moong with moong potato vaji.

Now it's time for deep frying. After heating 100 ml refined oil I have fried Moong Potato Fritters. Now it's time to enjoy it with coriander sauce. Have a nice time.
