Ingredients

  1. 1.5 lbsChicken
  2. 1/3 cupcornstarch
  3. 2eggs
  4. 3 tbspolive oil (or vegetable oil)
  5. Sauce
  6. 3/4 cupSriracha sauce
  7. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  8. 1 tablespoonvinegar
  9. 1 tablespooncrushed red pepper 🌶
  10. 1 teaspoonsalt
  11. 1 teaspoonspepper
  12. 1 tablespoonsesame seeds
  13. Other
  14. Green onions (topper)
  15. Rice (to serve on top)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Cut chicken in cubes, then put in large freezer ziplock bag

  3. 3

    Put cornstarch and shake vigorously until chicken is fully coated

  4. 4

    Add 2 eggs to the ziploc bag and shake again until egg is fully distributed/scrambled

  5. 5

    Add oil to pan and turn to medium high heat

  6. 6

    Start putting all ingredients from the sauce in a small saucepan and turn to medium heat, then stir at the same time while chicken cooks

  7. 7

    Dump chicken from ziploc bag into pan and turn to medium heat, let cook for 2-3 min, then flip and cook for 2-3 min more on the other side

    Pour sauce in the saucepan and fully coat the chicken

    Take a le creuset casserole dish (est. 9x13 inches) and coat in oil

  10. 10

    Empty contents from pan into the le creuset dish in a single layer, and put in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes

    Boil rice while waiting

  12. 12

    Optional: Broil chicken in oven for another 5 min (on low) to make it crispy!

    Serve on top of rice.
    Optional: top with green onions.
