It's been a while over here. This rice recipe is simple but delicious. Hope you give it a try.

Wash rice and cook. After cooking allow the rice to cool, but you can used already stored cooked rice

Peel garlic, thinly slice 2 and grate the rest.

Add oil to a pan and fry the sliced garlic on low heat, until crispy but not burnt. Fry by stirring continuously. When done place on a paper towel to remove excess oil

Add 2-3 tablespoons butter to pan and 1 tablespoon oil (from the one used in frying the previous sliced garlic) to a pan,then add in your grated garlic and onions for a little bit.

Add in your cooked rice and toss.

Lastly add your finely chopped basil and green onions (a little will do) a little sprinkle of cinammon (to give a background taste not overpowering) black pepper, salt, soy sauceto your taste. Mix well for a minutes.

And it's done. Garnish with basil and the thinly sliced garlic. Serve with salad and any protein.

This rice can be eaten without any addition because the taste is mind blowing.
