In a bowl add butter and sugar and mix until incorporated. Add in flour, pistachios, colour, saffron, milk and cardamom.

Make a soft dough. Divide the mixture in 14 equal size balls. Make smooth round balls and flattened them over the pistachios so that it sticks to the cookies.
Place them on lined tray and refrigerate for 20 minutes. - 4

Preheat oven at 160C.
Bake the cookies in preheated oven for 20 to 22 minutes. Let it cool completely. Drizzle some melted chocolate if preferred.
