I had extra cream cheese and wanted to find a different way to put it to use. These were worth the time.

Gather ingredients and preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

In small bowl, whisk flour and salt together and set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix room temperature butter and cream cheese with vanilla until blended. Add sugar and mix until fluffy.

Slowly add flour to the bowl stirring only until the dough is consistently mixed.

Form dough into small balls and spread evenly onto cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on the bottoms. Remove and place on wire rack to cool.
