#ny2025 good nutrition has always been the keynote in my recipes. It will continue in 2025. Focus is on healthy ingredients. Black rice has more protein, fiber and immunity power than any other rice. I used molasses instead of jaggery or white sugar. Molasses has several health benefits.
It is lower in carbs and packs more vitamin B6 and potassium than granulated sugar
It can help keep your bones healthy and might even be good for your heart (in moderation) It is a good source of iron, selenium, and copper, all of which help maintain healthy bones. It is a decent potassium source, promoting healthy blood pressure and helping maintain heart health. It contains zinc, which is known to support the activity of T-lymphocytes, enhancing immunity, mung is loaded with fiber and protein. Nuts, berries are good for you. #guilt free #healthy lifestyle

Make a checklist. Keep all ingredients within reach

Take rice and mung in a bowl with 3c water and 1c milk and cook it in a pressure cooker. Use pressure cooker following manufacturer’s instructions cooker. While rice is cooking attend to rest of the chores. When the rice mix is cooked completely turn off the stove. After the pressure goes down remove the bowl. Add coconut milk and molasses mix thoroughly. You will get about 3-4 cups.

Porridge Take one cup of the cooked rice mung mixture in a bowl. Add 2c milk or almond milk as you need. Add a pinch of cinnamon powder, 1tbsp raisins, 1tbsp nuts, 1/2 c sliced strww berries. I added cashews, almonds and walnutsNo need to add sugar. Enjoy a bowl of healthy nutritious delicious porridge

Add 1tbsp chopped date. No need to add sugar. Porridge is ready for your eating pleasure Enjoy a bowl of gulit free healthy nutritious delicious porridge
