A traditional dish from eastern Algeria, known as green Chorba Frick. Packed with vitamins and easy to make.
Steps

Sauté the chicken, onion, and tomatoes over low heat. Add the spices. Add half the bunch of cilantro and the celery stalks.

After 30 minutes, add 4 cups hot water (about 1 liter) and bring to a boil for 20 minutes.

Strain the vegetables using a sieve and blend them until smooth. Remove the chicken pieces and cut them into small pieces.

Return the chicken and vegetables to the pot. Bring to a boil and add the frick (cracked green wheat), chickpeas, hot pepper, and the remaining half of the cilantro. Let simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve with a slice of lemon and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
