Tangy and absolutely flavourful Fritters with Green Tomatoes are a treat to our tastebuds. I have made these yummy Fritters for Iftaar meals.
These are not only delicious but also a visual delight. A bit different from the regular Fritters or Pakoras. These are absolutely a bliss.
Serve them alongside any homemade fresh Chutney or simple Ketchup also would do the needful. An easy peasy idea for Iftaar meals this Ramadan by me. Everyone would love to gobble up these yummy Fritters and would disappear quickly. A perfect accompaniment for snacks at 4 pm or Shaam ki Chai. Serve them with a generous sprinkle of Chat Masala on them for a lip-smacking delight.

Wash and cut a little bit thicker slices of the fresh raw or green tomatoes. Meanwhile prepare a thick yet a smooth and a fluffy batter with gram flour using all the ingredients as mentioned.

Heat oil on a low for deep frying. Dip each slice in the batter. See to it that it gets coated well from all the sides. Fry few at a time. Avoid over crowding.

Fry until golden brown on both the sides on a low to medium high for even frying. Do not do it on a high heat.

Serve these lip-smacking homemade healthy and fresh fritters for Iftaar this Ramadan. Enjoy!
