Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 lbGround beef or filet
  2. 1/2Onion, diced
  3. 2 cupsBirria broth (also 1/2 cup rotisserie drippings)
  4. to taste Salt and pepper
  5. 2 cupsWater with beef bouillon
  6. 1 cupSpinach or broccoli leaves
  7. 1/2 jarCheese Whiz
  8. 1/2 lbProtein pasta (Barilla)
  9. for topping Shredded cheddar cheese
  10. Olive oil on thin sliced Baguette
  11. slicesS&P on
  12. Thyme

Cooking Instructions

    In a large pot, heat olive oil and cook beef until browned.

  2. 2

    Add diced onion and sauté until soft.

  3. 3

    Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Pour in birria broth and water with beef bouillon; bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Add pasta to the pot and cook until al dente.

  6. 6

    Stir in spinach or broccoli leaves until wilted.

  7. 7

    Mix in Cheese Whiz until smooth. You want it a little soupy for dipping bread

  8. 8

    Top with shredded cheddar cheese while hot.

    Drizzle baguette slices with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme, then air fry until crisp.

    Serve pasta with crispy baguette slices.
