Just a little creation I came up with because I wanted something different than regular beef stew.

Ingredients

4-6 hours
4 people
  1. 1 lb.Stew beef
  2. 1 cupDry sherry
  3. 3/4 cupbeef broth
  4. 1medium sweet onion cubed
  5. 1 packagevegetable soup mix
  6. 1 tsp.Thyme
  7. 1/2 cupflour
  8. 1 TBS.Extra virgin olive oil

Cooking Instructions

4-6 hours
  1. 1

    Coat the stew beef in flour and sauté in olive oil until browned, about 4 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add to crockpot along with the remaining ingredients.

  3. 3

    Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.

  4. 4

    Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes or rice.
