In a pressure cooker add kathal salt and turmeric powder add 1 cup water and pressure cook for 2 whistle. Turn off the flame released the pressure and strain the water. Keep the boiled Kathal in a bowl and allow to cool slightly. Then mashed them with fingers or masher. Add all powder spices and salt.

Add coriander leaves, add roasted gram Flour mix all very well. Adjust the salt at this state.

Grease the palm with oil and make lemon size balls from the mixture. prepared all koftas. In a pan add oil and place the koftas in pan when oil heated.

Fry them on low to medium flame till they turn golden brown. remove it and keep aside. Transfer this oil in a wok add whole spices and saute few seconds. Then add onion paste. Saute till it turns light brown.

Add ginger garlic paste saute 1minute add cumin powder, red Chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix and cook for 1 minute. Add salt and 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

Open the lid the oil comes on top then add 1/2 cup water, add kofta.

After adding all kofta mix gently then add garam masala powder and coriander leaves. Give it a nice mix and cover it. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Then turn off the flame.

Kathal kofta curry is ready. Dish out. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve with simple roti and rice.
