Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. 500 gmschicken
  2. 7,8 piecesgreen raw papaya peeled & cut into cubes
  3. 1/2 cupcarrot peeled & cut into circle shape
  4. 1/2 cup beans cut into 3 long pieces
  5. 1 big onion chopped
  6. 1 tbsp ginger
  7. 5,6 garlic cloves julion cuts
  8. 2 tbsp butter
  9. 2 tsp crushed pepper
  10. For tempering-
  11. 4 green cardamom pods
  12. 7,8 cloves
  13. 1/2 inch cinnamon stick(1)
  14. 10 black peppercorns
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 1 potato cuts into cubes
  17. 1 whole onion

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the chicken properly & set aside.

    Heat a pressure cooker, add 2 tbsp butter, then add the whole spices & the bay leaf.

    Allow them to sizzle just for a few seconds.

  4. 4

    Add the chopped onions, ginger, garlic & saute for 1,2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Then add the washed chicken pieces & saute until the colour changes to white

  6. 6

    Throw in the veggies & mix well.Add salt to taste, crushed pepper & hot water.

  7. 7

    Pressure cook for 2 whistles on low flame.

  8. 8

    Transfer the chicken stew to a serving bowl.Garnish it with butter & pepper.

  9. 9

    Serve the hot, healthy, delicious, weight loss dinner chicken stew with homemade buns.
