Gondhoraj Katla Fish

Wash the fish pieces and pat dry. Then marinate the pieces with salt, lemon juice and lemon zest. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

In a mixture jar add curd, green chillies, cashew nuts and lemon zest. Mix and make a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a kadai and add the fish pieces, swallow fry. Remove them and keep aside. In the remaining oil add Nigella seeds, saute for 1 second then add curd paste, turmeric powder, sugar and salt. Saute for 2-3mintues, add 1/4 cup water and fish pieces.

After 4-5 minutes boiling or when gravy becomes creamy texture then sprinkle some gondhoraj lemon zest. Off the gas, Cover the kadai for 2 minutes resting time. Then enjoy the dish.
