Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlCooked(leftover) rice
  2. 1/2raw mango
  3. 1 tbsp oil
  4. 1 tsp urad dal
  5. 1 tsp chana dal/daliya
  6. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 1 dry red chilli
  9. 1/4 tsp hing
  10. 8 Curry leaves
  11. Peanuts
  12. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 2 Green chilli
  14. Salt to taste

    First, gather the ingredients to make the recipe. Wash and wipe the raw mango, peel it, and grate it with a grater, then set it aside.

    Heat oil in a kadhai and add split white urad dal, split Bengal gram (chana dal)/roasted gram dal, peanuts, mustard seeds, and cumin seeds. Sauté well. Then add asafoetida (hing), dried red chili pieces, and curry leaves. Mix well. Next, add grated raw mango, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Mix everything well.

    Now, add turmeric powder and salt to taste, and mix well. Then, add the cooked rice and mix everything thoroughly. Your raw mango rice is ready...

    Serve the prepared 'raw mango rice' with fried rice papad or roasted urad papad.
