Like the bottom of cake pan with parchment paper, add the cup of sugar (less or more depending on size of pan) cover entire bottom

Cut strawberries in half (no stem) to bottom of pan, fill in spaces with extra smaller cut strawberries,

Mix the cake mix and put in cake pan
