On 1 side,Heat 2 liters of water in a thick-bottomed large pot on, and on the other side, clean the bottle gourd, peel it, and grate it with a large grater to make long shreds. Put these shreds into the hot water. When the color of the shreds changes, remove them from the stove and drain them in a sieve.

Take the drained bottle gourd shreds back into the pot. Now add sugar and stir. When the sugar water starts to evaporate, add 1 tablespoon of ghee. After a little while, add the dry fruits. Now, keep a constant watch.

When all the water has evaporated and the ghee separates, turn off the gas.take it off the heat and add the mawa little by little, mixing and stirring continuously. After all the mawa is mixed, add the essence and color

Now greased square tray & Thali. Sptead the halwa on both.

Cover it with a thin piece of fabric and let it set for 12 hours.Then Put Varakh on it & cut it in to pieces
