Steps

Whisk the sugar and eggs together. Add the flour and melted butter. Then add the milk and a pinch of salt. The batter should be smooth.

Butter a deep enough baking dish. Pour in the batter. Evenly distribute the blackberries on top.

Bake for 45 minutes, gradually increasing the oven temperature from 340°F to 390°F (170°C to 200°C).
