This is originally a North Indian dish. Made frequently, rajma is served with rice, roti or paratha.
Steps

Heat pressure cooker, add oil, cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom, bayleaf and black peppercorn. Stir well.

Add chopped onion, fry till golden colour. Then add tomato puree.

Cook till oil seperates out. Then add chilli powder, salt, turmeric, kitchen king masala and stir. Cook for some time.

Add soaked beans and saute for a minute till all masala is coated to beans.

Add ginger and kasuri methi and stir well.

Add 3 to 4 cups of hot water to the cooker and let the mixture boil. Then cover the cooker and cook till 4 whistles.

When pressure cooker cools down, open it and serve the hot rajma after garnishing with coriander leaves.

Serve rajma with jeera rice, roti or paratha.
