Lightly marinaded pork steaks in a ginger snap cookie dough gravy, a succulent Sunday dinner. Serve with cinnamon baked apples.

Cover meat three days with onions, vinegar, water, salt, pepper, sugar, cloves, bay leaves
- 2
Set marinade aside, Pat meat dry. Season with flour, pepper, salt. Fry meat in hot cast iron skillet in hot oil ten minutes to brown on all sides.

Add 4 cored apples with sugar and cinnamon. Put meat back in marinade, turn heat to low, bake an hour in medium warm oven or air fryer till apples are soft.

In dough maker: Cream butter, brown sugar, molasses. Add egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda, salt, spices. Make 2 Tbs size cookie dough balls. Mix with gravy and drippings till thick, heat till browned. Pour over meat, serve.
