Steps

Cook the chicken in water with salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and turmeric for 10 minutes.

Shred the chicken and set aside.

For the hogao, sauté chopped tomato, garlic, and green onion with chicken bouillon powder and oil for 10 minutes.

Peel and cut the plantains into equal pieces.

Fry the plantain pieces in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Remove and flatten the plantains with a tostonera or the bottom of a glass.

Sprinkle salt on the flattened plantains.

Fry them again for 1 minute until golden and crispy.

Serve the patacones, top with shredded chicken, and cover with hogao.
