Gajar Ka Halwa with milk and cashews
Steps
- 1
First wash, peel and grate the carrots well. Then take it in a pan and put it on medium flame.
- 2
Now add milk to it and stir it and cover it and let it cook for five to seven minutes. Now when the carrots become very soft and some of the milk starts to burn, add sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves properly.
- 3
Now when the sugar water burns and thickens, add 2 spoons of ghee and stir. When the mixture thickens and starts to leave the pan, add dry fruits and cardamom powder to it.
- 4
Now take this mixture in a plate greased with ghee and spread it well and garnish it with curd and cashew nuts. When it cools down, grind it evenly. So, a delicious carrot halwa that can be served at a wedding is ready.
