Ingredients

Makes about 12 pieces
  • 200 gFlour
  • 55 gCaster sugar
  • 140 gUnsalted butter
  • 1 tspSalt

Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

    Mash butter until soft and creamy.

  2. 2

    Add sugar and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add salt and flour, knead with hands.

  4. 4

    Roll out until half an inch thick.

  5. 5

    Place on tray and prick.

  6. 6

    Bake for 45 min at 170°C.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle sugar on top.

Tips

For a richer flavor, consider using a high-quality butter.
