Sugar Sprinkle Cookies
Recipe makes about 38 cookies weighing 30 grams each. So good and delicious!
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, mix all your dry ingredients. Mix well and set it aside.
- 2
On a separate bowl, add the wet ingredients. Mix each one, one by one. Add them by the order of the list of ingredients. Start with the butter, mix until creamy. Then add the sugar. Once sugar is well combined into the butter, add the eggs. Make sure the eggs are well combined, and continue adding the extracts.
- 3
Once all wet ingredients are well mixed, pour in your dry ingredients and start mixing together.
- 4
Once you have your dough, add your mix ins and fold into the dough. Don’t over mix you don’t want the sprinkles to break or dye the dough.
- 5
Now you have your cookie batter. Cover it and let it rest for at least one hour and no more than 4 hours.
- 6
Grab your dough and start separating into balls of 30 grams each. This will make about 38 cookies. You can make this whatever size cookie you like, I think 30 grams is a perfect size for cookie snacking.
- 7
Roll them up and slightly flatten them with your palm and place it in a greased cookie sheet. On a 9x12 cookie sheet you can fit 12 balls evenly.
- 8
Bake in the oven at 325 F for 12 minutes or until a slight golden bottom.
- 9
Remove from the baking sheet and let rest for 10 minutes. Your cookies are now ready to enjoy!!
- 10
HELPFUL TIP! If the cookies come out looking too puffed right out of the oven, use a spatula to flatten them. It will make the cookies look more flat.
- 11
Hope you enjoy 😋
Tips
The more you flatten the cookies, the better looking they will be. I like them to look like a thick coin. That’s how I know it’s a perfect looking dough before baking. **You can reduce the cornstarch.*** you can do either 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tsp. Cornstarch is used to maintain softness in the cookie days after baking. Store cookies in a seal tight container to maintain moisture and freshness for days.
