Wash and soak rice and dal.in a cooker and oil and zeera and sliced onion saute till golden and tomatoes cook till soft and ginger garlic paste.add the remaining vegetables,haldi,salt and water

When the water is boiling add the rice dal mixture mix well and let it cook for 1 to 2 whistles.. Serve ve with fried papad and fried dahi mirchi
