Take a kadai. Add oil. When oil gets heated add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When both cracked nicely then add turmeric powder, asafoetida, curry leaves and garlic cloves.

When it nicely sauted add sliced onion and saute it. Cover it for a minute or two to cooked properly.

Now add pavbhaji masala and red chilli powder and mix well. Then add very well washed raw rice and mix all properly.

Now for 3-4 minutes saute it together. And then add water and salt to it. Make a boil, low the flame and put lid to cook properly.

Just check in between for water and add more water if required. After rice is cooked properly garnish it with coriander leaves and serve this rice with some pickle and roasted or fried papad. Enjoyy.
