Wash, rinse and soak daal for a good 5-6 hours. Later boil and set aside to cool.

To this cooled and boiled daal, add the chopped vegetables and the other spices as mentioned.

Mix well and chill until ready to serve. Top it up with a generous amount of pomegranate arils. Serve it chilled as a lovely evening 4 pm snack or at tea-time or shaam ki chai. Enjoy!
