Momos in fish design

Momos in fish design
Steps
- 1
First of all, heat water in a vessel and swell the soybean gram in it. After swelling, squeeze out the water, put it in the mixer and grind it coarsely.
- 2
Now sieve the flour in a big plate, add salt to it and knead the dough. Keep a big part of this dough white and mix red color in one and yellow color in the other two parts.
- 3
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion, garlic, tomato, and dried red chilies and salt. Cook until they are tender. Once cooked, turn off the heat and grind them in a mixer once they cool. Add white vinegar and sesame seeds.
- 4
Cut all the vegetables as per instructions. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, soybean powder, salt and other spices to it and fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Turn off the gas and add soybean powder to it.
- 5
- 6
Now knead the flour and make it smooth, lengthen the white part with your hands, and make small balls of the red and yellow parts and place them around the white part. Now roll them all together. Make small balls, roll them and put this stuff in them.
- 7
First, close the top, then lift the front and close it, making a slight opening with a matchstick. Now, close the back and make slight cuts with the back side of a knife, as if cutting a fish.
- 8
Place black peppercorns on both sides of the front to resemble eyes. Use your fingernail to lightly design the center, resembling a fish gill. Keep them all the same.
- 9
Place the fish in a steamer filled with water, place them on a wire rack, and steam for 10 minutes. Serve with momo chutney. Your fish momos are ready.
